Strawberry DNA extraction lab was used to aid in our lessons on DNA and its importance.

STD transmission Simulation Lab

Our club aims to promote sexual awareness and sexual health among teens. Our STD transmission simulation lab mirrored the transmission of sexually transmitted diseases without using proper precautions. This lab was in conjunction with our sexual health lessons to promote safe and protected sex.

Our careers in medicine panel featured Dr. Michael John Pratt (Forensics Psychiatrist for the NYS Commission of Correction's Medical Board), Wyatt Tran (Biochemistry researcher, PhD Candidate @NYU Grossman School of Medicine), Leta Paul (Licensed Practical Nurse), and Dr. Shirley Daniels (Nursing Department Chair and Professor @CUNY Medgar Evers College).

Promoted the multitude of professions in the healthcare field, encouraging students to explore different careers in healthcare.
